After seeing Ballard’s adorable Burlap Curtains I just had to get them.
These wonderful curtains not only dress the place up they are a wonderful addition of texture and style to any room.
I mean who doesn’t like burlap right, like with Croscill Drapes as well.
Now you can dress them up even more by adding stenciling to them or buying them with stenciled designs.
If you want a little more of a subtle touch to the room I would suggest leaving them bland.
This will add texture and a flair of design without being to flashy.
This Is especially true if your room is already too busy. Less is always more!

Most retailers sell their curtains for around $299 for a single panel.
If this is too much for you as it was for me you can just make your own.
I have mad my own designer burlap shades for around $12. You just need to be a little crafty and you can make your own as well. Here is how I did it.
I went to my closest fabric store and got roughly 6 yard of burlap fabric.
I then cut that in half so I had two panels of 3 yards each.
Now you just need to fold the burlap over itself so you create two layers.
Then you need to get some cute café curtain rings.
Then you just need to secure the café rings in place equal distance from each other. Then you are done you can hang them in any room.

These curtains add such a blast of texture to the room.
They are a light natural fabric that will complement almost any home décor.
Keep in mind that burlap is more in the orange color group so decorate accordingly.
You can also use the fabric around the room to add special touches that twill complement the curtains.
You can make a burlap lamp cover that will tie in the curtains beautifully.
Burlap is a lose knit weave so If you are looking for more privacy you might want to get lined ones.
They will not keep out the light very much.
